We are stoked to announce two new Ambassadors that have joined the Big Agnes Family: Tyler Turner and Eric Arce. Get to know Tyler and Eric and read below!
Eric Arce
I’m a freelance photographer, based out of Albuquerque but originally from the Antelope Valley, California. I love photographing people on their bicycles and love to highlight the diverse stories within cycling. I first started bikepacking in 2020 after the loss of my father. In his youth, my father loved spending time moving across mountains on horse often days at a time, and since I loved being outside too bikepacking was a way to connect with his memory.
I love backpacking because I can focus primarily on biking and photography over the span of a few days. It provides time to reflect while pedaling. It’s such a great opportunity to see beautiful landscapes and be present with your friends or by yourself. There’s something really amazing about riding flowy singletrack with the fully weighted bags.
I can’t wait to photograph more routes and build community on the trail. Recently, I’ve been creating cycling merch with Latino artists, and I really love it. I try to be intentional with it and often use them for fundraisers, too.

Tyler Turner
Tyler Turner is a lifelong adventurer, seeker, and adrenaline enthusiast, his friends call him the fun hog. Tyler is always chasing the next challenge — whether it’s racing Paralympic Snowboardcross, BASE jumping, surfing, chasing powder, mountain biking, he’s always living large. He made history at the 2022 Paralympic Games in Beijing as Canada’s first-ever gold medalist in snowboard cross, and he hasn’t looked back since. Never one to let his traumatic accident and physical disability stop him, Tyler also became the first bilateral amputee to pilot a wingsuit, proving that boundaries are meant to be broken! As a Big Agnes ambassador, Tyler brings the stoke, grit, and wild heart that defines a life lived outdoors. He’s all about making the most of life and showing the world that adventure doesn’t need a finish line—or legs, for that matter.
