Ambassadors

meet the crew.

Our Ambassador Team is a key part of the Big Agnes family.

No matter what walk of life they come from - whether their adventures bring them around the globe or into their own backyard - they embody the Mother of Comfort.

Just as they are proud to share their experiences, we are proud to partner with them, in the hope of inspiring others to go out and do the same.

Ann Driggers - Backcountry Bon Vivant

Two cyclists with loaded bikes pause on a dirt road in a desert landscape. One points toward layered rock formations in the distance under a bright blue sky, with trees and scrubby bushes around the road.

Meet Ann

A Jill of all trades and a master at none, Ann is a weekend warrior and backcountry bon vivant who lives to hike, ski, and paddle but mostly bikepack in the mountains of western Colorado.

Originally from the UK, Ann lives and works in the Roaring Fork Valley, from which she aims to explore as much of the wild and beautiful places of her local geography as possible. She works a full time job while maximizing pre-and post-work micro adventures. Her favorite is to ride out from work up into the mountains, find a sweet camp spot, cook dinner, watch the sunset, gaze at the stars, sleep, coffee and then ride back into work at sunrise. The weekends are spent deep in the Elk Mountains, where devising new routes and trulyconnecting with nature, returning with memories, pictures and words with which to inspireothers, are what makes her tick.

Favorite Food – Tough question-I love ALL food ;) But if I have to go with one-curry-my British roots showing through!

Favorite place you’ve traveled – New Zealand

What drives you to adventure – Sometimes the discovery of a new route, or a place rarely visited. Other times it's about the physical challenge, traveling long distances everyday on my bike. But mostly I am driven by being outdoors in a magical place with beauty in every direction, immersing myself in it, observing the small and the large, the micro and the macro, seeing and feeling all of the landscape.

Meet Cherise

Cherise is a spirited adventurer with a big heart for the outdoors, meaningful impact, and a good glass of wine. With a deep background in tourism and logistics, she’s spent decades immersed in mountain culture—running adventure media companies, coordinating tours around the world and chasing unforgettable moments with her wolf dog, Astro, by her side in the Eastern Sierra.

She is co-founder of Altum Adventures, a company driven by a collective love for adventure and culture. Altum Adventures offers memorable tours in lesser-known wine regions worldwide, combining outdoor activities with wine experiences.

She’s all about blending purpose with passion, championing grassroots nonprofits to bring cultural exploration and social good together. Her work with KarmaFlights and The Nyima Project focuses on education, renewable energy, and access to healthcare in remote Himalayan communities.

When she’s not exploring the mountains with Astro or diving into her next passion project, she’s likely savoring a glass of wine and dreaming up the next great adventure.

Cheers to many more mountaintop experiences!

Meet Eric

Eric Arce is a freelance photographer, based out of Albuquerque but originally from the Antelope Valley, California. He loves photographing people on their bicycles and highlighting the diverse stories within cycling. He first started bikepacking in 2020 after the loss of his father. In his youth, his father loved spending time moving across mountains on horse often days at a time, and since Eric loved being outside too, bikepacking became a way to connect with his father's memory.

He loves backpacking because he can focus primarily on biking and photography over the span of a few days. It provides time to reflect while pedaling. It’s such a great opportunity to see beautiful landscapes and be present with your friends or by yourself. There’s something really amazing about riding flowy singletrack with the fully weighted bags.

Eric can’t wait to photograph more routes and build community on the trail.  Recently, he's been creating cycling merch with Latino artists, and really loves it. Eric tries to be intentional with his creations and often uses them for fundraisers.

Meet Justin

As a ten-time U.S. National Champion and an Olympian in snowboarding, Justin knows what it takes to push limits, embrace the elements, and savor the journey along the way.

After retiring from professional competition in 2017, Justin transitioned to coaching and now mentors world-class athletes, including multi-time Olympic gold medalist Ester Ledecká. But Justin’s passion for the outdoors has always gone far beyond the competition arena. An avid mountain biker, backcountry explorer, and bikepacker, he was the first person to summit and mountain bike all of Colorado’s legal-to-ride 14,000-foot peaks.

Today, Justin continues to fuel his love for wild places through partnerships with brands that share his commitment to sustainability and adventure—including Big Agnes. Whether he’s chasing powder turns in Japan, riding endless singletrack in Colorado, or sleeping under the stars with nothing but a bike and a bivy, Justin embodies the spirit of human-powered exploration.

Grounded by a deep respect for nature and a belief that "the journey is the reward," Justin brings a lifetime of athletic grit, storytelling, and connection to every trail, every campfire, and every sunrise on the horizon.

Favorite food - SUGAR!I wish it wasn't but gosh darn I love me some sweets. It doesn't matter what kind: ice cream, pastries, chocolate, cake, reeses I am down for it. Bread and Cheese are a close second.

Favorite place I've traveled - Favorite winter location is Japan. Hot Ramen, hot springs, and cold powder are unbeatable. Favorite summer location is Finale Ligure for mountain biking. The bike culture and Italian cuisine set on the coast hits like a beach version of Moab.

What drives me to adventure - I don't know if I would call myself driven to adventure... I feel rather, I am drawn to see what is just beyond the horizon. It always amazes me how close the unknown really is and how with a little bit of sweat and planning you can change the unknown to the experienced. I love seeing new places with my own eyes and sharing places old and new with people I love and no matter
the experiencethe outdoor environment magnifies the vibes.

Go to costume piece - Jean Vest. I try to always pack things that can be used on the daily AND whenever a random costume requiring booty shakin hoedown comes a callin'. The old denim vest can work in every environment. Dressed up or down it's a show stopper.

Meet Trevor

Tyler Turner is a life long adventurer seeker and adrenaline enthusiast, his friends call him the funhog. Tyler is always chasing the next challenge — whether it’s racing Paralympic Snowboardcross, BASE jumping, surfing, chasing powder, mountain biking, he’s always living large. He made history at the 2022 Paralympic Games in Beijing as Canada’s first-ever gold medalist in snowboard cross, and he hasn’t looked back since. Never one to let his traumatic accident and physical disability stop him, Tyler also became the first bilateral amputee to pilot a wingsuit, proving that boundaries are meant to be broken!

As a Big Agnes ambassador, Tyler brings the stoke, grit, and wild heart that defines a life lived outdoors. He’s all about making the most of life and showing the world that adventure doesn’t need a finish line—or legs, for that matter.

Favorite Food - Probably steak. And the best part is, I could eat it every day for the rest of my life and I don’t think I can get gout!

Favorite Place I’ve Travelled - Favorite place I’ve travelled is so hard because I’ve been lucky to go so many incredible places. If I had to pick a favorite place, I would say a 3 Month Road trip on the East Coast of Australia. An amazing place, but probably less for the location and more for the time in my life. Right after high school, having the best time ever, getting to Surf every day first light last light, getting the best waves of my life, having some of the best times of my life!

What drives me to adventure - What drives me to adventure is slightly different these days than it used to be. Pre-life altering traumatic injury. It was in pursuit of pushing myself and pushing what’s possible. Nowadays, my motivation for adventure is just a huge amount of gratitude for the ability to still do it And the fact that it continues to bring me so much joy is Amazing

Favorite Costume - My go to costume is not a great question because Halloween is my least favourite holiday of the year. However, if I need to choose the ultimate costume, nobody will argue with me that I am the best lieutenant Dan in the room.
